Jackie Cross

Jackie Cross

Jacqueline’s passion for photography grew from the moment, as a young child, her Grandfather handed her an original Brownie camera. During her childhood and teenage years she began to experiment with her photographic style leading her to gain the vision required to capture inspirational images – a skill which still prevails in her work! A particular fascination with black and white imagery resulted in Jacqueline converting a small bedroom into a dark room.

As her friends started to marry, Jacqueline took her camera to the weddings. She found that she was able to capture the spirit and joy of the event in a unique, enchanting and personal way. Her photography has the wonderful ability to capture a sense of intimacy that creates a very personal set of images of such a special time!

Jacqueline’s other passion lies in designing and making bespoke bridal jewellery.  The design process is the most important part of her jewellery. Time is spent with the Bride to ensure that the choice of materials used, their colour to complement the dresses and their eventual shape amount to beautifully unique pieces. This process is often achieved at a fun bridal evening where the bride and bridesmaids get together with Jacqueline to discuss their jewellery ideas to make the ‘big day’ that little bit more special.
